2015 American Eagle Silver Bullion Coins Available January 12
The United States has been rationing Silver Eagles for a couple of months ago, and now it is likely to be continued through the rest of 2014. It will also apply when 2015 coins debut.
The Mint has indicated its inventory of 2014 American Silver Eagles would run out and that it would start moving towards 2015-dated coins. The 2014 coins are expected to last through the week of December 15th. Next year’s coins, according to the Mint, would launch January 12, 2015.
2014 is expected to become the new record holder for annual Silver Eagle sales. The most recent figures from the Mint state 42,368,500 were sold through December 5. The current record was recorded last year at 42,675,000 coins. Just over 306,500 must be purchased by year’s end to break the record.
